Muriel has been sleeping since 1:30 yesterday afternoon! Jeff and I left to rest at the Ronald McDonald house from 1-6am...first time I slept in a bed since last Saturday! This morning Muriel has had an Echo to check her IVC and an xray to look at fluid in her lungs. She has been cleared to eat solids today so we will start with quinoa and apple baby food and see how she does. Oh, and she is also getting her Foley catheter out. Dr. Submaranian (one of her surgeons) said we may be ready to go to the second floor and out of the ICU by Monday or Tuesday!
